The finished dish — looks amazing, right?

Okay, Let’s Talk Ingredients

Alright, here’s the deal. You wanna hit the store for this, and it’s pretty chill. You’ll need 4 large fruit shells (I usually go for oranges or melons, but honestly, whatever floats your boat). Get 1 cup of coconut water—like, the good stuff, not that sugary junk. Then grab 1/2 cup of fresh fruit (think berries, kiwi, pineapple—whatever’s in season, ya know?).

Oh! Don’t forget the 1/4 cup of almond extract + sugar syrup (seriously, this combo is like a hug in dessert form). A bit of Vegan Gelatin (1 tablespoon), 2 tablespoons of honey or agave syrup (whichever you prefer), and a splash of Vanilla Extract. Lastly, some fresh mint leaves for garnish (because we all need a little green in our lives).

So Here’s Why I Make This Constantly

Okay, so this recipe is like a secret weapon for summer BBQs. Last year, I made these for a friend’s birthday and the whole crew devoured them in like, 10 minutes. It was chaos, but the best kind! I remember my friend Sarah was like, “Can you teach me how to make these?” and I just laughed, because they’re SO easy, and everyone thought I was some gourmet chef. Spoiler: I’m not. Just a home cook having a blast! 🎈

Just as gorgeous from this angle too!

The One Trick That Changes Everything

So here’s the kicker: when you mix the coconut water and Vegan Gelatin, you gotta stir it continuously—like, don’t walk away or you’ll end up with some weird clumpy bits. Trust me, I learned the hard way. Just keep it moving until it’s all smooth and silky, like a good TikTok dance move.

Don’t Mess This Up (My Top Tips)

Tip 1: Don’t overfill the shells. I mean, it’s tempting, but they’ll spill everywhere, and nobody wants a sticky kitchen mess.
Tip 2: Make sure your fruit is super fresh! Old fruit = sad fruit shells.
Tip 3: Let them chill in the fridge long enough! My impatience once led to a soupy disaster. Just… don’t be like past me!

How to Keep Them From Disappearing (Or, How to Store Them)

Okay, so if you have leftovers (which is rare, trust me), just pop them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. But honestly, good luck with that—these babies vanish faster than I can say “fruit shell.”

If You Liked This, You’ll Probably Like These Too

If you’re into fruity goodness, you’ll def wanna try my Berry Bliss Parfaits or Mango Mousse Cups! Both are super easy and just as refreshing. They might even steal the spotlight from these fruit shells (but shhh, don’t tell them that).

So, what do you think? Are you ready to make some of these awesome fruit shells? Or have you already made them and you’re just here to chat about it? Let’s share some kitchen stories! 🍽️💬
