  • 1 cup fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup honey or agave syrup (to taste)
  • 4 cups sparkling water
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine sliced ginger and 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes to create a ginger infusion. Remove from heat and let cool.
  2. Strain out the ginger slices and transfer the liquid back to the saucepan. Stir in honey or agave syrup, fresh orange juice, and lemon juice until well combined.
  3. In a large pitcher, mix the ginger-citrus mixture with the remaining 2 cups of sparkling water. Stir gently.
  4. Add orange and lemon zest to the pitcher and mix well.
  5. Serve over ice, garnished with fresh mint leaves.
