Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup honey or agave syrup
  • 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon probiotic powder (or contents of 1 probiotic capsule)
  • Sparkling water
  • Lime slices and fresh coriander for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water, honey/agave, coriander seeds, and salt. Simmer until dissolved.
  2. Remove from heat, steep for 10 minutes, then strain into a clean jar.
  3. Stir in lime juice and probiotic powder; cover loosely and let ferment at room temperature for 24-48 hours.
  4. Once fermented to your liking, refrigerate to halt fermentation.
  5. To serve, fill a glass with ice, pour in the mixture halfway, top with sparkling water, and stir gently.
  6. Garnish with lime slices and fresh coriander.
